Aclima acquires Sukkamestarit Oy, strengthening Nordic manufacturing and expanding its sock offering
The acquisition adds specialist sock expertise and a further Nordic production unit, reinforcing Aclima’s position in demanding outdoor and professional markets.

– Aclima has acquired Finnish sock specialist Sukkamestarit. The acquisition complements Aclima’s established base-layer and mid-layer collections with specialist capabilities in the development and production of socks. Both companies have experience supplying products for outdoor and defence applications, where quality and performance are critical. By bringing Sukkamestarit into the group, Aclima gains a dedicated centre of excellence for sock development and production, creating a strong foundation for significantly expanding this part of its collection.
The acquisition also adds another factory in the Nordic region and further strengthens Aclima’s European value chain. The combined business will have annual revenue well above NOK 500 million and 186 employees.
